Half day trips are a good way to work on some of the basics of flyfishing and casting for a morning. These days are ideal for the beginning angler who wants to learn just what it is all about, and is short on time. All trips in Yellowstone National Park are walk/wade. Our guides provide the experience, boats, lunches, snacks, and refreshments to make your trip worthwhile, comfortable, and fun. You can bring along your own tackle or rent for a discounted rate from us, and our guides will help you pick out the right flies in the morning.

We meet at 8:00 a.m. at the shop, and generally return between 6:00 p.m. and 7 p.m. on our full days. Our half days go for 4 hours, whether you start in the morning or afternoon.
